Welcome to Mentor Link. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of mentor-link.io and any related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Service in any way — including by submitting a matching application, applying as a mentor, or otherwise interacting with us — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the Service.
For the purpose of these Terms:
Mentor Link is an independent verification and discovery platform that connects prospective students with vetted Mentors active in trading and ecommerce. We vet and approve each Mentor before they are listed, present curated profiles, facilitate introductions, and may negotiate exclusive discounts on your behalf. The actual mentorship relationship — including the content, scheduling, delivery, refund policy, and outcome of any Mentorship Program — is between you and the Mentor.

By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. We may update the Terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Material changes will be highlighted on this page (and, where appropriate, communicated via email). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access for any User who does not meet, or who we reasonably believe does not meet, these requirements.
Every Mentor we list passes a manual review process that may include verified trading track records (e.g., Myfxbook, FX Blue, broker statements), prop firm payout proofs, withdrawal evidence, ecommerce dashboards (e.g., Shopify, Stripe), supplier invoices, identity checks, and an interview. Documentation provided to us during verification is treated as confidential and is not published — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Verification confirms the Mentor's track record at the time of review. It is not, and should not be interpreted as:
You remain responsible for your own due diligence on any Mentor before entering into a Mentorship Program, including reviewing the Mentor's profile, public reviews, program description, and any additional information they provide directly.
Nothing on the Service — including any content, profile, statistic, testimonial, mentor description, or message originating from us — constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, accounting, or legal advice, a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or a recommendation of any specific strategy or product. Any information provided by Mentors through the Service or through their own programs is for educational and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own financial, trading, business, and personal decisions and for seeking qualified professional advice where appropriate.

All testimonials, case studies, and student stories on the Service represent specific individuals and are not representative of typical results.
When you submit a matching application we will, at our discretion, recommend one or more Mentors we believe are a reasonable fit. Matching is a recommendation, not a commitment from any Mentor to accept you. The exclusive discount we may negotiate with a Mentor is offered as part of the match channel and may be subject to additional Mentor-specific conditions (eligibility, capacity, region). Discounts cannot generally be stacked with other promotions unless explicitly stated and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. Attempts to bypass, replicate, or circumvent the match channel may forfeit the discount and result in suspension from the Service.
Payments for any Mentorship Program are made directly between you and the Mentor, typically via Stripe Connect or another payment provider chosen by the Mentor. Mentor Link is not a party to that transaction, does not hold funds for either side, and does not process refunds. Refund, cancellation, and chargeback policies are determined and operated by the Mentor and you must consult those before purchasing. We will investigate good-faith reports of non-delivery, misrepresentation, or fraud and may, at our discretion, remove a Mentor from the Service, but we are under no obligation to provide any remedy, refund, or compensation.
If you are listed as a Mentor on the Service, you agree, in addition to the general User obligations, to:
You acknowledge that listing on Mentor Link is at our sole discretion and may be paused, modified, or terminated at any time, including if your verifications, results, conduct, or compliance posture materially change.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Where you submit content to the Service (for example, application text, messages, mentor profile content, testimonials, or feedback), you represent that you have all necessary rights to do so and that the content does not infringe any third-party right or violate any law. You grant Mentor Link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You can withdraw this license going forward by contacting us, subject to reasonable operational limits (for example, retaining historical records as required by law).
All elements of the Service — including the Mentor Link name, logos, brand assets, copy, design, code, illustrations, page layouts, and curated content — are the property of Mentor Link or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, public display, or commercial exploitation, requires our prior written consent.
The Service may include links to, or display content from, third-party websites and applications, including Mentor websites, social media platforms, payment providers, and verification tools. We do not control these third parties, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, products, services, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed in the course of using the Service, including (where you are a Mentor) the verification documentation provided to us and (where you are a Student) personal information shared during the matching process. This obligation survives termination of your use of the Service.
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review it carefully.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mentor Link disclaims all express and implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and security. We do not warrant that any Mentor will accept you, deliver any specific result, or maintain any particular performance level. We do not warrant that any content, statistic, or representation made by a Mentor is and will remain accurate beyond the time it was verified.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Mentor Link, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any Mentorship Program — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Without limiting the foregoing, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees, if any, paid by you to Mentor Link during that period or (b) one hundred euros (€100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death and personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mentor Link and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your use of or interaction with any Mentor or Mentorship Program, (c) any content you submit to or through the Service, or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of another User. On termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnities, intellectual-property terms, governing law, and dispute resolution) will continue in effect.
Mentor Link is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, civil or military authority actions, fire, flood, accident, network or infrastructure failures, denial-of-service attacks, strikes, supply-chain disruption, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts of the Netherlands shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by mandatory consumer-protection law. Where required, you may also have access to alternative dispute-resolution procedures such as the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to be enforceable while preserving its original intent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, any mentor- or student-specific terms we expressly reference, and any agreement we sign with you in writing, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mentor Link regarding the Service.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets) or to an affiliate, on notice to you.
We may give notices through the Service, by email to the address you provide, or by any other reasonable means. Notices to us must be sent through our contact page.
